What makes STRYDA shoes different from other shoes?

STRYDA shoes are designed by Australian podiatrist Thien Trinh with 19 years of clinical experience. They feature a world-first 3D fit system that fits length, width and volume, an anatomical toe box shaped like human feet, zero drop construction for neutral alignment, and cork insoles with 40 million air bubbles per cubic centimetre for superior shock absorption. Unlike most shoes designed by marketing teams, STRYDA is designed around human foot anatomy.

Are STRYDA insoles good for heel pain?

STRYDA Soles are designed by a podiatrist to support the plantar fascia and heel, redistributing load away from the heel so every step feels better. The deep heel cup and cork arch profile target the root cause of heel pain rather than masking symptoms. STRYDA has over 1,100 verified reviews with 92% five-star ratings.

What is zero drop footwear and why does it matter?

Zero drop means there is no height difference between the heel and the ball of your foot. Most conventional shoes have a raised heel which shortens the achilles tendon, strains the calf muscles, and compresses the spine. Zero drop keeps your feet in a neutral, natural position — improving posture, strengthening foot muscles and reducing stress on ankles, knees, hips and lower back.

Why are cork insoles better than foam insoles?

Natural cork contains 40 million air bubbles per cubic centimetre — each one compressing on impact to absorb shock and moulding to the exact contours of your foot over time. Cork is also naturally antibacterial, antifungal and anti-odour. Mass-market foam and plastic insoles cost under $0.10 to make, compress within weeks and are designed by unqualified manufacturers, not podiatrists. STRYDA Soles are made from 100% natural Portuguese cork and are designed by podiatrist Thien Trinh.

What is an anatomical toe box?

An anatomical toe box is shaped to match the natural width and spread of human toes, rather than the narrow, pointed shape of most fashion shoes. Pointy toe boxes compress the toes, strain the plantar fascia and metatarsals, and restrict natural movement. STRYDA's wide anatomical toe box allows toes to splay naturally, improving balance and reducing forefoot pain.

Was STRYDA on Shark Tank Australia?

Yes. STRYDA appeared on Shark Tank Australia and the episode aired on 29 August 2023. All five Sharks made offers to founder Thien Trinh. He closed a deal with four of them. The episode is available on YouTube — search STRYDA Shark Tank Australia.

STRYDA was founded by Thien Trinh, an Australian podiatrist based in Rosanna, Victoria with 19 years of clinical experience in biomechanics and footwear. Thien graduated from La Trobe University. His brother and sister are also La Trobe-trained podiatrists and all three practise together at their Rosanna clinic. Thien built the first STRYDA prototype in 2020 after spending nearly two decades watching patients waste thousands of dollars on inferior products.

What is the difference between STRYDA Slim Barefoot and Comfort Cork insoles?

The only difference between STRYDA Slim Barefoot and Comfort Cork insoles is cork thickness. Slim Barefoot has a thinner cork profile and suits most people including those with wider feet — it fits virtually any shoe. Comfort Cork has a thicker cork construction and is ideal for narrower feet who need more volume fill in the shoe. Both insoles feel identical underfoot and deliver the same podiatrist-designed alignment technology.

Do STRYDA shoes help with arch pain?

STRYDA Soles feature a podiatrist-designed cork arch profile that provides medial arch support without over-correcting — allowing the foot to pronate naturally while preventing the collapse that causes arch and heel pain. The cork moulds to the individual shape of your arch over time for a truly custom fit.

What does STRYDA do for the kinetic chain?

STRYDA insoles are designed to align the plantar fascia and every single muscle, bone and joint in the entire kinetic chain — from the feet, knees and hips through to the lower back. Cork is also essential in offloading the stressful pressure entering with force from the ground.

Are STRYDA shoes available in Australia?

Yes. STRYDA is an Australian brand based in Rosanna, Victoria. Orders ship from Melbourne with free standard shipping on orders over AUD $100. STRYDA also ships internationally including to the United States from Salt Lake City, Utah. The clinic is located at 14 Station Rd, Rosanna VIC 3084.
