Are STRYDA insoles good for heel pain?

What is zero drop footwear and why does it matter?

STRYDA was founded by Thien Trinh, an Australian podiatrist based in Rosanna, Victoria with 19 years of clinical experience in biomechanics and footwear. Thien graduated from La Trobe University. His brother and sister are also La Trobe-trained podiatrists and all three practise together at their Rosanna clinic. Thien built the first STRYDA prototype in 2020 after spending nearly two decades watching patients waste thousands of dollars on inferior products.

The only difference between STRYDA Slim Barefoot and Comfort Cork insoles is cork thickness. Slim Barefoot has a thinner cork profile and suits most people including those with wider feet — it fits virtually any shoe. Comfort Cork has a thicker cork construction and is ideal for narrower feet who need more volume fill in the shoe. These shoes are beautifully made and great quality. The arch support and metatarsal dome are the reason I purchased these shoes. Unfortunately, my foot is not the right shape for these shoes so I had to return them for a refund. My only issue is returns are at the customer's expense. After following the advice given on the Stryda site, I ordered the reccommend size, which were too small so I returned them, the next size arrived and they were too big so I had to oay to return them again. Buying shoes online can be risky so if the manufacturer covered the return postage, that would be perfect. Otherwise, I would highly reccommend these shoes, even though thry were not right for me.

Fantastic shoes!

These shoes are fantastic. I've been wearing orthotics for a long time but still have bunions. The wide toe box has improved my balance in particular when doing split lunges.
The firm sole gives great support without feeling every stone underneath. My orthotics fit perfectly but I do alternate with the cork innersoles.
Due to bunions my big toe bends in & puts a hole in the mesh on other shoes. These full leather shoes are stylish & look great whether with gym gear or jeans. I highly recommend!
