I haven’t worn the shoes yet, but I have put the second set of inner soles I bought in another pair of shoes and am very happy with them. The shoes are even nicer looking than I was expecting, and that is I think because they are not as wide as zero rise/barefoot shoes, but still plenty wide in that toe box.
Having read other reviews, I think people misunderstand this inner soles. It is designed to kick our lazy underused foot muscles back into action, decreasing our reliance on orthotics that don’t correct foot problems. It’s one of the reasons it takes tome to transition to them. I say this as some who has worn barefoot shoes for a couple of years.
Happy with the shoes and insoles but taking some getting used to as they are quite heavy. Nit the prettiest shoe either the square toe look but if they work that’s not a problem.
Sturdy, supportive shoes. The toe box is nice and wide. I use the orthotic with the inner sole to give a little cushioning.
Omgosh they are amazing! My calves are no longer tight. I am standing better and can walk faster. You will not be disappointed
